This Privacy Policy explains how BRBito handles information when you use the BRBito mobile application.
BRBito is a general wellness and break-reminder app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
1. Information we process
BRBito does not require a BRBito account. Your companion nickname, language and onboarding choices, selected break types, reminder schedule, notification settings and identifiers, break-session information, and analytics-consent choice are stored locally on your device. They personalize BRBito and operate reminders and breaks.
If you affirmatively choose optional analytics during onboarding, BRBito uses Firebase Analytics. Analytics may include a randomly generated app-installation identifier, app version and build number, device platform, selected language, onboarding status, notification-permission outcome, selected break times and frequency, app opens and foreground activity, break-opportunity and session events, technical identifiers, and nickname length but not the nickname itself.
Analytics is optional. Declining analytics disables Firebase Analytics collection; withdrawing consent through available controls attempts to clear queued analytics events and disable Firebase Analytics data on the device.
BRBito uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect, diagnose, and fix technical problems. Crashlytics may receive a randomly generated installation identifier, app and platform details, crash and error reports, technical logs, device and operating-system information, and information needed to diagnose performance or reliability issues. It operates separately from the optional Firebase Analytics setting.
BRBito is designed to avoid placing your nickname, email address, phone number, free-form text, notes, messages, or calendar information in diagnostic context. Technical reports can contain information generated by your device or operating system.
For in-app purchases, BRBito uses RevenueCat to show available offers, process purchase and restore results, and confirm access to paid content. RevenueCat generates an anonymous app customer ID because BRBito does not supply an account ID. RevenueCat may receive that ID, device and app technical information, IP address, offer and product identifiers, purchase and transaction details, store receipts or purchase tokens, and entitlement status. The app checks entitlements when it starts and returns to the foreground. This processing works independently of your optional Firebase Analytics choice.
Apple App Store or Google Play handles the payment. BRBito does not receive your full payment-card number. If notifications are allowed, BRBito schedules local reminders on your device. BRBito does not register a push-notification token or use a remote push-notification provider in the version covered by this Policy.
2. Information we do not request for core use
BRBito does not require your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location, payment-card information, health records, or activity-recognition data for its break features. Store purchases may require payment information from Apple or Google under their own terms. We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or share individual break activity with employers, teams, insurers, advertisers, or data brokers.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide, personalize, maintain, and secure BRBito; save device-local preferences and break activity; schedule and respond to local reminders; manage offers, purchases, restores, and access to paid content; understand optional aggregated usage and improve features; detect and resolve crashes, errors, abuse, and security incidents; comply with law and enforce our rights; and communicate with you if you contact us.
4. How we share information
If analytics is enabled, Firebase Analytics processes optional usage data and Firebase Crashlytics processes diagnostic and crash information. RevenueCat processes the purchase and technical information described above on our behalf to manage in-app purchases and entitlements. Apple or Google processes the store transaction under its own terms. We may also use service providers under contractual safeguards; disclose information for legal and safety reasons; or transfer information in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
5. Storage, retention, and deletion
BRBito stores break preferences and session data on your device. If optional analytics is enabled, some related usage details are also processed by Firebase Analytics; diagnostic and purchase-related information is processed by the other providers described above. Device-local data remains until you change it, clear BRBito data through device settings, or delete the app, subject to operating-system and backup settings. Deleting the app does not itself erase store transactions or RevenueCat's purchase records. We and our providers retain information as needed to provide purchased access, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain the service, subject to applicable provider settings and policies.
6. Your choices and rights
You may decline optional analytics, manage notifications through device settings, change or delete local app data through available controls or device settings, and restore eligible purchases in BRBito. The optional analytics setting does not turn off RevenueCat's purchase processing. Contact us about purchase-related privacy requests; deleting local app data does not delete store or RevenueCat records. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information. We may verify requests and limit information where required or permitted by law.
7. International transfers
BerylCode and its service providers, including Google Firebase and RevenueCat, may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children
BRBito is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable law where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when BRBito, our practices, or applicable law changes. We will post the updated Policy in the app, on our website, or through another reasonable method and update its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
